The nearest airport is in Catania, 37 miles from Taormina. There is a bus operated by
"Etna Trasporti" which leaves nearly each hour to Taormina (70 minutes drive) between 7
a.m. and 9.45 pm. Just outside the airport arrival terminal. From the bus terminal of
Taormina you can take a taxi and reach the Residence with a 5 minutes drive.
BY CAR
From Villa S. Giovanni (Reggio Calabria): take the ferry-boat from villa S. Giovanni to
Messina, proceed through the A18 Messina-Catania motorway till Taormina exit. From
Catania airport proceed on the A18 Catania-Messina motorway and exit in Taormina. From
Palermo airport proceed on the A20 Palermo-Messina motorway, continue on the A18
Messina-Catania and exit in Taormina. Otherwise, run through the A19 Palermo-Catania,
turn to the A18 Catania-Messina and take the exit to Taormina. Once you make a
reservation we will send you detailed instructions about how to reach the residence from
the highway exit of Taormina.
BY TRAIN
Get off at the station "Taormina-Giardini", and then take a taxi, it’s a 10 minutes
drive to reach the residence.
BY BUS
Get off the bus at the Bus terminal of Taormina, and then proceed by taxi.
